X-KOTE Concentrate
When a drag racing engine was treated with X-KOTE Concentrate, it picked up an additional 12 hp, just by reducing the friction generated by metal-to-metal contact. Reduced Friction = Increased Horsepower, Increased Fuel Mileage, Cooler Engine Temperature, and Extended Engine Life. X-KOTE Concentrate can be used as an additive in gasoline and diesel engines.
X-KOTE Concentrate is comprised of special synthetic cleaners that effectively remove sludge and carbon deposits from engine internals.
Upon the first oil change following treatment, you will notice that the oil will appear extremely dirty and black. This is due to the presence of extra carbon and sludge that have been broken free from inside the engine. After the third or fourth treatment, depending upon how dirty the engine was to begin with, you will notice that the oil will actually be cleaner after 4,000 miles with the X-KOTE treatment than it was after 2,000 miles without the treatment.
As X-KOTE Concentrate cleans and removes carbon and sludge, it also fills and seals the microscopic pores in the metal, establishing a protective barrier between contacting metal parts, therefore reducing friction and allowing the engine to run cooler, cleaner, smoother and longer.
Using X-KOTE Concentrate for firearm accuracy enhancements
After treating a test barrel with X-KOTE Concentrate, tests typically showed a significant increase in accuracy. X-KOTE Concentrate does not build up in the bore like Moly Coats and should be used as specified in order to sustain enhanced accuracy. X-KOTE Concentrate removes carbon, lead, and copper fouling from the barrel as it lubricates.
X-KOTE decreases bullet-to-barrel friction by as much as 47%, therefore causing less deformation of the bullet and enabling better accuracy.
When used in a 308 caliber test barrel, standard deviations dropped from 25-30 fps, to 5-7 fps shot to shot.

X-KOTE GTX Gun Cleaner & Lubricant
GTX is a byproduct of X-KOTE Concentrate. It is much thinner than the Concentrate but still has the same hi-tech synthetic additives to enable the best cleaning, lubrication, and rust protection. GTX is never sticky or tacky like other gun lubes, so it is ideal for dirty environments, such as, desert and jungle. A seasoned shooter can actually notice a reduction in recoil from a semi-auto weapon that has been treated with GTX. X-KOTE GTX enhances weapon function, making the action smoother and more reliable.

X-KOTE Marine
Derived as a byproduct of X-KOTE Concentrate, X-KOTE Marine is in a class by itself.
X-KOTE Marine was engineered specifically for salt water and marine applications where rust protection is a main concern. Rods and bait-casting reels can achieve an extra 50 ft. per cast when properly treated with X-KOTE Marine.
